Welcome to Shoreham Bowling Club.The Club is situated off the Upper Shoreham Road in Buckingham Park on the West side by the old cricket pavilion. All standards of bowlers are welcome. SBC 2nd in Brodie League.

Shoreham BC finished second in the Brodie League 2024. This was the inaugural  year for the league and to come 2nd out of 9 is quite an achievement. Congrats to all who played. The final league table is shown.

Let the light shine in! New windows have been installed in the clubhouse, so better ventilation in the summer and more light.

SBC Ladies win the Brighton, Hove and District Women's Bowling League.

This Summer SBC ladies won the League by a margin of 10 points over runners-up Southwick Park. Well done all ladies who took part.

SBC Ladies Runners-Up in the Gladys Rowland Memorial Trophy.

An SBC ladies team were in the finals of the 2024 Glady Rowland played at Burgess Hill this year. The team of Marion, Brenda, Sue and Bridget came in runners-up and were amongst 53 teams that have competed. Well done ladies.

Southwick Park Open Day.

SBC ladies team runners-up at the Southwick Park Fours Open Day. Well done Brenda, Maeve, Sue and Marion. Well done to another SBC team for taking part.

SBC's Captain v President match. The annual match between the President's and the Captain's teams took place on July 5th. The result was a win for the President's team, for the second year running. For the result follow this link.

SBC get 170+ people to try our mat-game at the Family Fun Day. On Sunday 2nd June, in Buckingham Park, SBC members set up a bowling mat game, sponsored in part by Shoreham Carpets and Flooring Ltd., and invited people to have-a-go. The day prompted four have-a-go'ers to come to the roll-up on the following Monday.               Enlarge image by clicking.

'BOWLED OVER' with gratitude for the support and sponsorship provided by Shoreham Carpets and Flooring Ltd. A £750 sponsorship this year has provided us with membership banners and now, these new scoreboards.

Opening of the 2024 Season.   April 20th 2024 will see the opening of the summer season for SBC, and it starts with an Opening Roll-Up ay 14:00. All are welcome so, come along and get your eye in for our first match which is Hurstpierpoint away on the 24th.

A New Banner for SBC.

SBC took delivery of a new banner for 2024 recently from our sponsor Shoreham Carpets and Flooring in Brunswick Street, Shoreham. The new banner is on the fence at the entrance to our green in Buckingham Park. The photo shows Simon Annis, a Director of Shoreham Carpets, presenting the banner to Roy Webb.
